Vegetable burgers with cava sauce.

Today we present a recipe to take advantage of those bottles of cava that usually remain in the pantry after the Christmas holidays. With it we are going to prepare a scrumptious sauce to accompany our vegetable burgers. For the preparation we will need:

  • 1 glass of cava.
  • 1 ripe avocado.
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 red onion.
  • White pepper.
  • Olive oil.
  • Salt.
  • Once we have all the ingredients, we start by frying the very chopped onion together with the cava, with 3 tablespoons of olive oil until the onion is transparent.

    Add the coconut milk and keep on the fire until it reduces. We pass everything through the blender, along with the peeled avocado and add water if we see that the sauce is too thick. Season to taste.

    Thanks to our family-format hamburgers, we can prepare the fillets we want, once the burgers are cut and we grill or bake them. And to finish we place them with the sauce on top. We have used a part of the avocado that we have left over to decorate the dish a little.

    You can choose between the different flavors of vegetable burgers that we have, we have opted for the one with algae and aubergines, to enjoy them!
