On this occasion we present a recipe for vegetable cider sausages that can serve both as a starter and as a main course. It is a simple dish as well as delicious that enhances the flavor of the sausages, we have chosen to use cider but it is also possible to prepare it with red wine, this already depends on the taste of each one.
For the preparation of this recipe we will need:
The first thing to do is wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into strips and cook them starting with cold water until soft, this for 6 minutes over high heat.
In a separate pot and with a little oil, sauté the onion cut into feathers for 3 minutes over high heat, add a little salt, without going overboard.
We added the biosalchichas, we have opted for the Frankfurt variety of our Ecological brand Ahimsa. We cut them in half and continue cooking for 3 more minutes, there is little left!
Then we add half a cup of vegetable broth along with the glass of cider, we give the last touch and most importantly cooking over high heat for 6 minutes.
We have used our bio sausages for what is a vegetarian dish but it can also be vegan using a variety of vegan sausages from our catalog such as smoked, German, seitan and tofu or quinoa and tofu.
The result is an exceptional dish to share in a snack or as a main dish with that unique flavor that the cider gives it.
