This time we have opted for preparing a Valencian baked rice or arròs al forn, a very typical recipe from the Valencian Community.

A forceful recipe that can serve as a single dish, the most important thing is that it is delicious and thanks to our vegetable blood sausage and chorizo ​​it can also be suitable for vegetarians.

For its preparation we will need:

  • 300 gr rice.
  • 600 ml. vegetable broth.
  • 1 head of garlic.
  • 1 tomato.
  • 1 onion.
  • 2 potatoes.
  • 1 Organic Chorizo ​​from Ahimsa.
  • 1 Biomorcilla Ahimsa.
  • 100 grams of cooked chickpeas.
  • We have two references to choose from for vegetable chorizo ​​in our catalog, one is what we call Samson made from soybeans, corn flakes and wheat gluten. The other version is made of Seitan and tofu, this one is vegan unlike the previous one.

    We cut the tomato into slices and we passed it through the pan. The same with the chorizo ​​and blood sausage.

    In an oven-safe container, fry the onion and add the rice and chickpeas. In the traditional recipe, a clay pot is used, if you have one, it may be the best option.
